At the time of this photo Mikah was a walking champion, happy as a clam. Now 2 weeks later Mikah is going through some tough teething times. He also bit his tongue and has a cold sore that is still healing. Our usually hungry baby is now eating mostly breastmilk with some sips of soup, when he can stand it, and crying at all hours of the day and night.
It breaks my heart to see him suffering so much. That is apart of life though, and apart of our journey as parents is letting Mikah have his own experience. We have been holding him a lot and giving him a lot of attention, though it is beginning to wear us down.
To resolve this, we are currently looking to transition our production for Kitty Baby Love outside of our home so that Ben and I can make more space for Mikah and also for ourselves.
If anyone knows of a space in or around Portland, Oregon that can be offered for free or trade (labor, graphic design, etc), please let us know.

cold sores are so painful, and even more so for little babes! poor thing!
in regards to space, our home is also our office, art studio, shipping warehouse, etc. and it was a real compromise for the first few years, especially since we had two little ones who needed the space. ultimately we all got used to it, but i completely understand the need to have a separate work space! good luck in your search!
